Why I became a doctor?
I was always drawn to medicine, but didn’t feel like I fit the conventional model. Then I found Naturopathic Medicine and knew I had found my passion. Over the last 10 years in practice, I have really become the doctor who knows and treats the whole family. My goal is to bring the “small town family doctor” into modern medicine through an integrative approach that blends the best of conventional and natural therapies. I meet patients where they are and help them find the best path forward to feeling their best.
What conditions I love to treat:
Pediatrics is one of my greatest passions. I love caring for children—from well visits to supporting chronic concerns like eczema, constipation, ADHD, and autism. I also offer acute visits because as a mom I know how stressful it is when our babies are sick.
Hormones- I work with both women and men on hormone optimization, including testosterone therapy, perimenopause and menopause support, fertility care, and thyroid health. There is so much that can be done to support hormones throughout our lives!
Digestive issues, allergies, anxiety and depression, and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and weight concerns- combining the staples of diet, exercise, stress management with herbs, targeted supplements with advanced therapies like peptides to optimize results.

I truly love my job and love seeing patients
I love soccer! I am a season ticket holder to Wave FC, I coach my kids, and play when I can

Doctor Monterey is a good listener and she is very thorough organizing my nourishment plan.
